I've been a self-employed photographer/writer for most of my life. I have returned for my second winter-spring season working in Big Bend National Park, Texas, and I am very proud to wear the uniform of the National Park Service. In 2009 I was a health care worker, a Census Bureau enumerator, and a substitute teacher (all at once)thanks to the recession. But as a photographer-writer-artist I have four books and hundreds (thousands?) of published photographs and articles to my credit. I've also photographed hundreds of portraits and weddings in my 35-year career and sold "billions and billions" (thanks Carl Sagan) of fine art prints. All text and photographs on this blog are copyrighted by Cindy McIntyre and may not be used without permission.
It's looking a little greener around here! Feeling a little warmer. Sun staying out longer. Birds trying out their songs. Here's what it's looking like now in Big Bend.
